Killer Intent starts with a bang (quite literarily) and doesn't let go. I also liked the fact that the title and the author’s name rhymes. Apparently it’s not the author’s real name -something I was disappointed at! Still good though.

I digress - I’m not known for my love of the political thriller with bullets and hit men from the word go, and this one is a bit busy at the beginning with characters, situations and all those bullets flying around. But stay with it, as the smoke clears and the unpredictability starts with a vengeance.

Ooh it’s very twisty and I could imagine Tom Cruise starring in it - but who stood out for me was actually the female character - Sarah Trueman. Wouldn’t like to be caught on the wrong side of her - the right side however and she would have your back, that’s for sure.

The fact that everything moves so quick means that you fly through the book and it’s the plot that is the strength here. What a tangled web we weave! With the current political situation around the world as it is, the novel really has some moments when you can’t help thinking of the real world.

Tense and fast. I need a lie down now.
