Did not finish book. Stopped at 11%.

TW - the abuse trigger warning did not prep me enough for the monster of the first 1/10 of the fucking book. i usually try to give steven king as much leeway as possible for the book he wrote in the 70s and late 80s due to his addiction, but i could not bring myself to read any further. the details of a teen mother punching her infant son to the point his eyes swell shut really doesn’t feel imperative to the story plot to me
