Unlikeable Female Characters by Anna Bogutskaya

informative
Male anger is threatening - when men finally explode, it's presented as painful for the characters, so we are encouraged to empathize with them. Female rage, meanwhile, has been shown as dangerous to the women themselves.

I ended up liking the book. I agree with most of what the author said, especially that part about how these roles are more prevalent among straight women as if to say white girl sadness or white girl rage is more acceptable than that of women of color. It did become a little repetitive towards the end though. Also glad I listened to the audiobook instead of eyeball reading this because there were some lines added by the author that would have annoyed me had I read it with my eyes. Overall still great and would recommend this.
