Culmination of many journeys and pov into the final battle. The big bad was one dimensional and predictable. The main Fmc grows a lot and learns to lead. A new kingdom emerges with unused coffers (?!)
It’s kind of let down, the story has great features but ultimately I didn’t find the characters really likeable or personable. They really felt like the same flat person with slight changes, and there’s very little chemistry between them to keep things interesting. There doesn’t need to be a grand romance but even the friendship between the two main fmcs was boring, they’re clearly drawn together solely by circumstance and didn’t feel like a genuine connection.
