Darah Lace delivers a surprisingly well-written cowboy romp that avoids ridiculous, overdone, tedious tropes. Truly a standout in the #instalust genre. We go straight to action from the first page and the characters keep coming, and coming, and coming. Yes, that was a double entendre.

Despite the generous serving of delectable roughhousing, *whew* the action NEVER gets boring. The characters went quite a few steps past being well-endowed. Clay's inner struggle to decide how to approach his relationship with Lindsey was reasonable. He isn't the usual one-layered hardheaded cowboy buff. Lindsey's dedication to getting what she wants from a partner while exacting self-respect was admirable. She refused to stand by and settle for someone's half-baked efforts. She voiced her needs, knew her self-worth, and when to walk. Evan was an all-around great guy and an even better wingman. I can't wait to read his story.

If you enjoy confident unabashed characters with abundant chemistry, snappy dialogue, commendable BDSM/consent/safe sex practices, and a dash of angst/pining then I highly suggest reading this book. It was a solid (Amazon) 4-star delight. Yee Haw.
