I've decided that I'm going to give this series a proper review when I post book 3.
If you're not a nonfiction reader like me, but you're looking for a meaningful read with themes involving today's political climate - this series is it. Corrupt leaders, colonialism, the endless cycle of oppression (literally no one seems to learn), genocide & ethnic cleansing, racism, religious differences. Literally, the Daevabad trilogy has it ALL.
If that's not enough to convince you: the romance had me in all of my feels 🥹🥰❤️😮😢😭😤🥺😇🥰😍🤧🤗❤️
LOL I hope that was descriptive😅.
