Bitter Heat by Leta Blake

4.0

The main pull to this story for me was the desire to figure out how Kerry and Janus would be together with so much in their way. This was enough to keep my interest when the pacing seemed slow at points. Throughout the story Leta explores some differences in class culture and political power. I'm happy with the way the story ended, and I and I wish we'd gotten to see more of one particular platform that ended up being entirely moot by the end of the story.
