Murder on the Rockport Limited is mostly hit, but with a few areas of miss that drag it down in my opinion. A lot of the McElroy's humour uses silly voices and off the cuff jokes which don't translate well to the page, but they're doing their best and Carey Pietsch's art is phenomenal as always. I like the Murder on the Rockport Limited arc in the podcast but you can somewhat tell they're still getting the hang of a narrative podcast rather than the formats they usually use and that translates to the graphic novel as well unfortunately. I think the revisions made improve the structure of the story and do well to set up the overarching plot, which is a mark in the graphic novel's favour. I also think a non-listener would definitely not lose out from not having listened to the podcast, which adds to its star rating.

Overall, this isn't amazing but it's still enjoyable enough and worth reading for the later parts of the story.
