The only reason this isn't getting five stars is that it started to drag in the middle. To be honest, I think it was that Mayer had too much for a single book, but not enough to require a second book.
The middle felt like where it should end, but we had a whole lot more happen afterwards, causing the drag.
Still it was understandable why it was done that way and I enjoyed the characters and the pulling together of this ragtag team. I've started the next one already so it's clearly not bad.
