Someone Else's Shoes by Jojo Moyes
Did not finish book. Stopped at 25%.
Well, I didn't expect to find myself here dnf-ing a Jojo. Why? This book was turning me into a man-hater. I was hate-reading and my annoyance meter was in the red.
One of the MCs was pretty wet with a husband I wanted to mentally throttle despite his mental health problems.
The other MC, oh where to start. She was one of the most annoying, snobby, priviledged women you could imagine. Vapid, superior and self-centred...but the way Moyes wrote this, she had me sympathetic for this woman and that didn't sit well with me. I hated this woman's husband more than the other and we didn't see a glimpse of him.
I'll never know the outcome of this story but I can settle for that rather than spending my reading time in utter irritation.
