he overhears her talking about the constancy of love....so he secretly writes her a letter.....which she sits in his chair to read once he leaves.......I can listen no longer in silence. I must speak to you by such means as are within my reach. You pierce my soul. I am half agony, half hope..........aaaAAAAHHHnothing can ever beat pride & prejudice for me but this is a close second
