The Impossible Vastness of Us by Samantha Young

2.0

Ok, I'm clearly in the minority here but I just didn't like this. The main character, India is the Boston Bella Swan so fans of Twilight will love this. India meets Finn, who is the most handsome/dreamy/brooding boy that ever lived. He's terrible to her and she becomes obessed nevermind that Finn is the boyfriend of her Stepsister to be, Eloise. I'd like to point out that even though it's obvious to the reader what Eloise's "secret" is India thinks they are a couple and she goes around crying about how terrible he is to her. It's only after Finn apologizes, by literally just saying "I'm sorry" and India is like "cool, no big deal that you wouldn't even make freaking eye contact with me". Finn tells her he likes her and then she's all "what about Eloise?".

I have had this problem with Samantha Young before where I've felt like the characters just didn't redeem themselves. I ended this book still not liking Finn or Haley. Everyone else seemed to love this book so maybe I'm just being extra judgy.
