Thank you so much for the opportunity to have read this as an ARC, through BookSirens
I have not read any of the books from the Hospital for Immortal Creatures series but this novella, even though belonging to the same universe, it's a story of it's own.
I really enjoyed it, it's a nice love story, I wasn't expecting it to be so sexual but I don't think it took anything away from the book or the story. I liked the fact that the main character was different from the usual romance characters and that the fantasy characters were different from the current trends among the genre.
Although the ending was very predictable, I enjoyed the story, read it all in just a few hours and definitely recommend if you like fantasy romances.
