A contemplative tale of a young man and a girl and their unique friendship. It offers a look at life in the distant past as well as thoughtful deliberations about ‘Mister God’. At times, that distance in time made the book difficult to understand, especially the slang words. Additionally, some details were left too hazy for my taste. Certainly an interesting story.
