A wonderful, dark tale of occult practices set in the lush background of Argentina. There are characters you're rooting for, characters you love to hate, and a whole lot of grey. Engaging from start to finish and a wonderful introduction to an author with whom I was completely unfamiliar. It's a rough book so read with care but it was so wonderfully written that I enjoyed it despite the number of content warnings it requires.
