I am a huge of Smart Jocks Series and couldn't wait to read more from this world. While this was an enjoyable read, I didn't love it on the same level as SJS. This was marketed as slow burn romance, but it felt rushed. There was little one on one interaction, and I just didn't' feel the chemistry or buildup I've come to anticipate with Jenshak. There were some awesome cameos, but you definitely don't need to read SJS to enjoy this one. I long for Heath's book and hope Kenton has something in the future too. I'm still a fan of this world and will be reading whatever comes next.
