I intended to start with Pucking Around, but the author advised to start with the prequel. There's not much here apart from smut, smut, and more smut. That was expected, given the premise, but I was hoping for a bit more of an introduction to the characters. The spice was okay; not groundbreaking, not particularly well written, and the dialogue was awkward at times. I'm hoping the novel steps up in terms of quality, because I won't be reading 500+ pages of a book if it's at the same level as this prequel.
