The first chapter can be boring as it takes a while to set the tone of the book but after that, the remaining stories tie together nicely for the overall message of positivity. While there is a primary cast, the structure of the book allows for it to feel like more of a short story collection as we focus one person’s desires for each chapter. While the characterization isn’t very strong, it’s a pleasant and easygoing read.
