When @readbelievelove asks you to buddy read something with an author called Golden Angel, you do it. Immediately.
Angel - no relation to the author - is interested in the BDSM scene, but doesn't know much. So, she pretends to be a Dom when she visits a local sex club. She didn't think showing up as a submissive would be a good idea in a club full of dominant males. When she meets Adam, there's instant chemistry but he is perplexed by her claiming to be a Dom. He's so hung up on it that when she shows up to another sex club as a submissive, he's pissed. (Obviously a complete stranger should give him the full truth, and only the truth.) When he does an intro scene with her, he takes his irritation out on her, well... As much as he can within reason. Can Adam get over himself and his giant ego to pursue a relationship with Angel since he can't fight their attraction?
Dude is jealous. And can't get over things. And it was crazy annoying. Also, based on the cover, you'd think this was pure heat the whole time, but not so much. I mean it was when it was, but there was a lot of delving into Adam being an ass hat.
