Rarely have I read a book that captures human experience so perfectly. The characters are flawed, but you understand them. You root for themas you follow their good times and bad, you truly feel as if you know them. Zevin's writing is beautiful and the last section of the book is a memorable stand out in all the books I read last year.
Graphic: Ableism, Death, Gun violence, and Xenophobia
Minor: Sexual content
