The Buffalo Creek Disaster: How the Survivors of One of the Worst Disasters in Coal-Mining History Brought Suit Against the Coal Company--And Won by Gerald M. Stern

3.0

This book is required reading for a lot of law schools in the US. I read it because it was on my bookshelf and I have a goal to read all the books on there. It was better than I expected. The disaster that happened is insane and the lawyering that went on was actually pretty interesting. Even with no knowledge about the law it's still accessible and I did find that I learned things about the law and the courts. A surprisingly good read.
