Buried Heart by Kate Elliott

5.0

The last book in the series delivers a fast-paced finale to the story that kept me guessing at every turn. Elliott writes the politics of Efea so well—not just the politics of royal infighting for the throne, but the politics of class and race in this conquered land. This was a satisfying end of the series that leaves me wanting to know what happens to this country after the events of the books.
