Anxious People by Fredrik Backman

3.0

This book was a hard one to get through until the last 1/4th of it. I didn’t really care for the interrogations or the banter between the cops but once the hostages actually began talking to each other in the apartment, it all came together for me. I understand you need to know about the connections between the people on the bridge and the witnesses, but a lot of the in between to me was unnecessary.

The last 100 pages of the book were incredible and Blackman is able to get his point across by the end. We’re all just doing our best and the strangers who cross our paths are figuring out this life just like you and me.
