This book was exceptional but HEAVY. An absolute great follow up read to A House at the Bottom of a Lake. Centers around a lot of the same over arching themes but much more drawn out and dynamic. This book is great for fans of Coraline, but be warned, this story “holds the darkness’s hand and does not let go” to quote Malerman himself.
