The TV show could NEVER!
I watched the first seven seasons of TWD, and didn't hear about the comics until probably season 3 or 4. Even though I stopped watching the show, I always wondered how closely the show followed the comics. Well...now I know. The show really could never come close to these comics! And this is just the first six issues!
