The Way of Kings, Part One by Brandon Sanderson

Okay, this took me a WHILE to get into, and by that I mean it took like 60% of the book. There is a lot of set up and word building and character introduction to get through. Sanderson introduces this world in astonishing detail. But my god is it worth it!
These characters are brilliant. The political system is intriguing and the religion is confusing but also really interesting. I’m definitely looking forward to find out out more about how the religion came about, what’s truth and what’s not.
As always, Brandon Sanderson is practically flawless in his writing, execution and systems. I can’t wait to get into the rest of them!
