Greta's Story: The Schoolgirl Who Went on Strike to Save the Planet by Valentina Camerini

5.0

I recently picked this up when I went to my local bookstore as I enjoy reading short and quick books but also because I am fascinated by Greta's story. I read her book; No one is too small to make a difference' last year and was shocked at how passionate she is. This isn't written by her, but talks about her story and journey for saving the environment. I wish I read this book before the other as I felt I would've had a more clear understanding of what she mentioned.

I am constantly blown away by Greta's achievements and passion for saving the planet which is clearly shown throughout. I especially like how there is a section at the back which includes 11 changes that you can make as well as articles and how to talk to your children about the environment in a way that is age appropriate.

I highly recommend reading this and will definitely pick up more books that I see about Greta but also more environmental books to educate myself more and make the changes that I need too.

This was read for my 'read a book that starts with the word 'the' and 'read a book with a cover that matches the colour of your birthstone' challenge for The Reading Rush 2020.
