3.5
3.5 Stars for this dystopian urban fantasy.
I listened to the audiobook and the narrator was the same as for the first book and continues to do a good job with the narration. The book is fast-paced with plenty of action. This was a little more intriguing, learning more about the Sahar stone and more about the demons and their realms.
One thing I will say, is I LOVE the way Annette Marie writes her slow burn romances. There is so much great tension, will they won't they moments, and witty banter. I also really enjoy how she writes a lot of her MMC. Whilst this isn't my favourite series that I have read written by her, it is still a solid enjoyable read.
