I picked this up as part of my continuation of this series.
“Alice in Borderland, Vol. 2” continues to follow Arisu and his friends as they try to figure out how to survive Borderland. Chota’s and Shibuki’s visas are going to expire, so the gang has to enter a new competition. Unfortunately, the gang learns that Borderland is ruthless, and not everyone will make it out alive.
This volume was intense. I do not want to spoil too much, but my heart broke for Arisu.
This volume also introduces a new setting: the Beach. This is a cult-like place where they are trying to work together to get one person out of Borderland alive. I am interested to see where this goes because the story has now introduced a myriad of new characters. It also ended in a pretty big cliffhanger, so I am curious to see what resolution is going to happen in volume 3.
