The Dark Sacrament: True Stories of Modern-Day Demon Possession and Exorcism by Christina McKenna, David Kiely

2.0

This book receives two stars because the tales of exorcisms--which compose most of the book--are indeed entertaining. The historical research, however, is poorly footnoted and, in some places, flat-out wrong. If you do read this book, skip straight to the exorcism stories, and forgo the introduction and concluding sections. You won't learn anything that you couldn't have made up yourself.
