Ein ganzes Leben by Robert Seethaler

4.0

This is a great novel that shines in it's bleakness and simplicity. But more than that, it is beautiful and evocative. It reminded me of John William's Butchers Crossing in the impressive way in which Seethaler also depicts nature almost as a character in his novel.
Made me want to pack up my things and live in the Alps!
