The Viscount's Vow by Collette Cameron

2.0

The author is really good with language and descriptions and her prose flows nicely. It's just I ended up being irritated with the heroine and positively annoyed with the hero.
Evangeline is shown to be strong and courageous on one side and a complete moron on the other side. She is innocent, yet being part Romani she doesn't have an insight into the realities of human nature, even a little bit.
The hero varies between very shrewd and a dullard, who cannot question even the most basic untrue story.
All in all, it may be a match made in idiot heaven, but the differences between the characters, the scenes which ranged from steamy to absolutely saccharine were a bit too much for this reader.
