This was such a cute, fluffy read! I couldn’t put the book down because I was obsessed with how the timelines would fit together. I found myself laughing out loud, more than once.

The character arcs were great. The side characters were solid. The tension was delicious. The spicy scenes were hot!

Was it completely realistic? No. No way could someone run a shop AND supply for high profile weddings without any kind of assistant. Also, the whole “she only eats junk and is still just so tiny” deal was meh… I also wish there was a little more depth to the relationship shown on page. You get the passion, but all of the deep bonding and getting to know each other was done off page.

My only other complaint is that there were enough pop culture references, as well as an actual date given, that solidly puts this book in 2023. There isn’t a chance of the time of this story taking place as being any time other than 2023.
