Aloha Rodeo: Three Hawaiian Cowboys, the World's Greatest Rodeo, and a Hidden History of the American West by Julian Smith, David Wolman

challenging informative slow-paced

3.0

This book was...a lot.  I appreciate the amount of information in this book, but there was so much, I felt rather overwhelmed.  It seemed like the story of the Hawaiian cowboys was so short, and told so fast toward the end, that I kind of felt like they were cheated.  Being from Wyoming, it was cool learning about the origins of Cheyenne Frontier Days, but again, there was so much information.  There was so much fun stuff to listen to, until my brain got overwhelmed and I wanted to fall asleep.
