All of the characters are assholes and I love that for them!!
Only the loosest of connections with Jane Eyre, so I wouldn't re ommend picking this up for that, but it was very enjoyable as a thriller.
There were places the main narrator (Jane) was borderline unbearable, but that's a good thing, because it was on purpose. If you want someone to root for, that won't be her though.
