Invasive Species by Joseph Wallace

4.0

As if I didn't hate wasps enough already. I don't read a lot of this genre, but this was a delightfully creepy, fast paced thriller. I love epidemiological narratives, and while this story dealt with a bug of the insect variety rather than a microscopic pathogen, the basic idea was the same. There were few things I didn't think would unfold quite the way they did, and I wish I had gotten to know the characters on a deeper level. But this was a very fun read, and I definitely recommend it.
