I wish I could give it 10 stars!!! The set up and the pacing of this was soo good, characters are developed soo well! I cried at the end! Can’t wait for the sequel!

There is a memory of a consenting sexual encounter that turns into an un wanted assault due to assaulter who is a vampire being over come with blood lust. It’s was handled well and not graphic but might be triggering for some. Future scenes deal well with the character who was assaulted and consent and everything. It was not hard to read in my opinion. But it does explore the dangers of the vampires in this world.
