Well... it's not ghosts. lol. I do think it's a pretty good story and I loved Dead Silence. I'm disappointed that there really wasn't much horror, or supernatural, or space.
It's on a mostly unexplored planet with some mystery, but I think the story goes on a little too long and missed out on some classic creepy potential. An abandoned facility on a new planet? Evidence that the last crew left in a hurry? Protagonists with tragic and traumatic backstories? SPACE MADNESS?! Maybe it's an overdone horror/thriller scenario, but these are still tried and true ingredients for a fun and exciting sci-fi scare. Ghost Station just falls a little short of that and left me a bit unfulfilled.
Still a decent read and an interesting setting.
