I’ve wanted to read the Avatar comics for years and years! I’m so glad they were printed in a paperback box set, it has made it really affordable and convenient, increasing the accessibility.
These comics are a perfect continuation of the show and really begin to set up the world we receive in the Legend of Korra. When I first watched Korra, I found the change a bit daunting and jarring, but it’s definitely becoming clearer and clearer that the world building followed a clear precedent and was fantastically completed.
The art was absolutely gorgeous, a very strong story line and phenomenal understanding of the characters. 5/5 ⭐️
