I won’t even lie for the first half of the book I didn’t like it. Not because of how it was written, it was written well, just as it was in the first book, but it made me dislike a character I previously loved in the first book. She was being extremely selfish and all though there was a happy ending I don’t think she’s worthy of him. That being said it was a beautiful twist and I. So happy for the MMC I shed a tear or two. I love all the culture in it, the therapy and mental health representation. The uncomfortable conversations that need to be had I respect this book and its characters. There was a lot more smut in this book than in the first one that did throw me off at times, but who cares we read for smut
