The Catch Me if You Can: One Woman's Journey to Every Country in the World by Jessica Nabongo

4.0

As someone who loves to travel and watch a lot of travel vlogs, i was so excited to get this book. Now that I have it and i see all the beautiful pictures and wonderful experiences that the author shared in it, i really want to start planning and saving for my one-year travel plan.

The great thing about this book is how personal and human these countries and its people are described. For example, there are so many countries I have never heard of, but Jessica captured them in such a way that i know not just the country's name but the people and their culture. Also, you can feel how different countries changed her perspective or ideas she might have had before visiting them, an example is her experience in North Korea.

She also touched on her Blackness and ho9w that is received in different countries and how she navigated that. You could tell that in visit so many countries, she gained a deeper understanding of herself and the people we share planet earth with. She also offers some tips on travelling, and some climate actions.

Thanks to TLC book Tours for making this book available to me.
