My summary: Savannah is on a third date with a lame guy she’s already planning on never seeing again, when they run into his wife and her mob boss brother, King. Savannah soon learns that King is not one to be crossed and is swept into his world in a rather coercive fashion. In the most unlikely situation you can imagine, King is instantly drawn to Savannah, and Savannah soon realizes that she may be falling in love with King.

My thoughts: If you want a twisted, dark, and deliciously smutty mafia romance, look no further. It’s a pretty f*cked up plot. I mean, this is not morally grey here. This is straight up, gruesome, almost deranged gangster sh*t throughout most of it. And I absolutely devoured it and thoroughly enjoyed, well, almost all of it. Literally couldn’t put it down and read it in about a day. I definitely recommend you check out the trigger warnings on this one, this series is not for the faint of heart or the easily squeamish.
