Persephone's Garden by Glynnis Fawkes

lighthearted slow-paced

described im the intro by the author as "diary comics" and this speaks true to the whole book. it reads like a comic anthology, varying from spreads about her daughter Helen to scenes with her
mother suffering from Alzheimer's to her times in Cyprus and Greece. the art is beautiful and varies from page to page, but it's very slow paced & I wished some of the diary comic entries were interconnected or more cohesive with one another. i also wish more familial aspects were fleshed out more. but ultimately i enjoyed this book!
