As someone else said, this should be the definite first book on Chaos Magic that someone who is getting into it reads.
Although I'm not a fan of Carroll's arrogant and self-aggrandizing know-it-all tone and the mathematics is honestly just cringy, I have to admit that the theoretical section is incredibly well thought out. The author has done his research and he presents a coherent and easy to understand paradigm that can be used to perform effective magic.
