Just Another Missing Person by Gillian McAllister

5.0

A huge thank you to William Morrow for the advanced reader copy! This was at the top of my list of anticipated reads for 2023 and it did not disappoint!

Just Another Missing Person paints a complex, intriguing & engaging picture of a woman split between her family and her passion, policing, - all while trying to solve a missing person’s case. The characters are so well-done, their grief and feelings are palpable and it’s so easy for the reader to understand them and empathize with their actions. I devoured this novel and it was just as brilliant as McAllister’s previous work, Wrong Place, Wrong Time. No one else knows how to write such a compelling and unique mystery (with expertly handled twists!) and such full-bodied characters. Five stars! If you like mysteries or thrillers, I can’t recommend this enough.
