Oksay whew. Not gonna beat around the bush here. First half of the book was challenging and not really in a good way for me. I didn't start fully enjoying the ride until I got to the second part, but don't take that as a negative. I still had a blast! It was nice to see Celaena rising from her turmoil and finally embracing Aelin Galathynius. I loved seeing her progression and how she ues her power. Rowan wa sa bit of a journey for me appreciate, since he irked and triggered me very much in the first half of the book, but I do like him now. Very worried for Dorian and Aedion given how things ended for them, but very excited for Chaol and Manon's future storylines. All in all, I willl agree that this book is what definitely kicks off the thrill of the whole series. I definitely felt the thrill that SJM wanted me to feel. She did a good job on this one.
