As far as legal thrillers go, I’m not super into them. When I tell you this had me on the edge of my seat!!! Not realizing this was the 4th book in the series, I was missing some context about Eddie’s history, but it didn’t take me it out of the story and I didn’t feel lost because of it. This can be read as a standalone. This was so good though, I’ll definitely going back to book 1. If you’ve never tried a legal thriller before, give this a shot. It had more twists than I expected.
