Behind the Net by Stephanie Archer

Generally longer than it needed to be. Tons of the miscommunication trope with MCs having some weird idea that they just can't be in a relationship at the moment. Then two scenes later they'd be making out like nothing happened.

Personally, I'm also not a fan of MCs who are singers. A huge reason Jamie seemed to have feelings for Pippa was because of how her music made him feel. Which is fine, but does not translate to me having those same feelings and in turn want to root for them to be together.

In any case, there are better romances and hockey romances out there than this. Won't be reading another Archer book.
