The neverending, unchanging sex scenes were unnecessary. The writing wasn't very creative and where I felt compelled to continue to read hoping for a gripping twist I was left disappointed as it never hit as much as it alluded it may. The continuous sex scenes eventually became so repetitive it got boring because the tension was eventually lost because it became expected of every chapter.
Graphic: Sexual content, Child death, Grief, Domestic abuse, Toxic relationship, Emotional abuse, and Infidelity
Moderate: Violence, Abortion, and Murder
Minor: Suicide attempt
