The Raven Prince by Elizabeth Hoyt
4.0
Quite a charming story with some memorable scenes! I really like Anna - headstrong and can stand up for herself, but not rude about it. Edward is borderline too much at the start, but does mellow out. You can feel the tension between them and the spice is GOLD ❤ Quite a lot actually! The sneaking out to be a courtesan plot is quite fun.
.
While I quite enjoyed the book because of its interesting characters and memorable plot, there are some aspects I don't quite like. The tone can be inconsistent at times, e.g. I as bracing for angst, but then seems it goes back to be cheerful? Some introduced characters also doesn't really add to the story, although their stories do get tied up nicely at the end.
.
The ending was nicely done! Seeing the villains got their comeuppance here is very satisfying
